Monday \u2013 The Late Shift Struggle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And just like that, Monday rolls around again. I’m on the late shift this week, which honestly isn’t too bad. Except when you oversleep and have to scramble to get out the door. That’s exactly how my morning went today. Woke up a bit later than planned, rushed through my routine, and barely made it to work on time. Not the smoothest start, but hey, it happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news? I finally wrapped up my shift and am heading home now. And the even better news? My wife’s making something tasty for dinner tonight. No idea what yet, but she always comes through. I’m really looking forward to just sitting down, eating, and decompressing after the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes this even sweeter is that I’ve got the next three days off. No work, no alarms. Just time to actually get things done. We’re planning to hit the shops, maybe stock up on a few things, and more importantly, tackle some paperwork with the embassies. There’s always something when it comes to government stuff, right?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of that, we’re waiting for my wife’s health insurance card to arrive. Once that’s in hand, we can finally book that doctor’s appointment for her pregnancy check-up. It’ll be a relief to get that sorted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So yeah, that’s where we’re at. Nothing too wild, but it feels good to have a few days ahead to breathe and knock a few things off the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
