Today was one of those rare, proper lazy days. No rush, no alarms just a slow morning that turned into an even slower afternoon. We took our dog for a walk around a small lake nearby, and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. Just the three of us, strolling along the water, soaking in the quiet, and letting our minds wander.
Of course, with all that peace and quiet came the big conversations. We talked a lot about the future. Mostly about the baby and the wedding. The wedding’s still planned for December, but we’re starting to lean toward canceling it. It just feels like the safer call with everything going on. That one stings a little, but we know it’s the right move.
As for the baby’s name? Still completely up in the air. We haven’t agreed on anything yet, and to make it even more interesting, we can’t even settle on the gender. My wife is convinced it’s a girl, but I’ve got a feeling it’s a boy. Guess we’ll have to wait and see who’s right!
After our walk, we headed back home, kept it chill. I did a little workout, threw together some homemade food, and just enjoyed being off the clock.
Hope your Wednesday was filled with little moments of calm too. Take care, friends.
